About Modified Cross Country
The goal of Amherst's Modified Cross-Country Team is to help student-athletes to understand how to live a healthy and active lifestyle. We work hard to help the students create individual goals, and to improve their fitness through a program that emphasizes flexibility, endurance, and agility. Students will learn a variety of running techniques and strategies; they will also learn how to adjust their speed and how to race in a competitive environment. We have a lot of fun, but we also work hard and stay focused on our goals. "Go Tigers!"
